Required Documents for Applying to a Physiotherapy Degree in the UK

Pathways to Studying Physiotherapy in the UK
Directly from High School
Your are able to study for an undergraduate degree in Physiotherapy at a UK university directly out of high school. Which is a 3-year Physiotherapy degree
Entry Requirements directly out of high school*:
- A high school GPA of at least 2.7/4.0 or its equivalent.
- International Baccalaureate requirements of 32 points.
- A-levels requirements: ABB with either biological science or physical education.
- IELTS requirement score of 6.5 overall, with no lower than 6.0 in any component.
An MSc in Physiotherapy (Pre-Registration)
The MSc Physiotherapy (Pre-Registration), is a master’s level degree in the UK. It allows students with a science undergraduate degree to study for 2 years in the UK and practice.
Entry Requirements*:
- A Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as health science, kinesiology, or biology.
- Prerequisite courses: Some universities may require specific prerequisite courses in anatomy, physiology, and exercise science
- Clinical experience: Many MSc Physiotherapy programmes require applicants to have clinical experience working with patients.
- IELTS requirement score of 6.5 overall, with no lower than 6.0 in any component.
- References: Applicants are typically required to provide references from academic and/or clinical supervisors.
